Open Casting Call for My Karaoke Live TV
My Karaoke Live TV will be having an open casting call in the Chicagoland area in late July early August 2008.  The location is to be determined. 
 
Think you can sing like Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana), LL Cool J, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Madonna, LiL Wayne, LiL Kim, Joey Page, Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Michael Jackson, Raven Symone, Billie Ray Cyrus, Chris Brown, Garth Brooks, Whitney Houston, Snoop Dog, etc?  Do you really think you have what it takes to sing and compete on LIVE TV?  If so, come out to audition for your chance to compete on LIVE TV! Cast Needed for “Women’s Prison”
Casting roles for the feature film “Women’s Prison” that will be shot in South Bend, IN from July 20-August 20, 2008.  This is a School of Visual Arts (NYC) thesis film directed by Katie Madonna Lee.  The film will premiere on May 9, 2009 at the Dusty Film Festival.

Most actors will be cast in parts that will have a 2-day or 2-week shoot.  We are not worried about experience as much as energy and presence.  All roles are non-paid.   

Roles:
AUNT MARSHA, (33- 47) a complex wife and mother, she covers up her hurt with having control, but completely falls apart when her daughter dies.
(shooting dates July 22nd to August 1st, August 11th)

JUDGE HICKS, (45-58), a stern and conservative man, with no tolerance or patience. (Shooting Date August 9th)

LACY, (29- 35) a conservative female and ruthless attorney. (shooting date August 10th)

Prison roles:
CLAUDIA, (age 30-50), African-American a calm, tranquil woman who makes peace with her past.(shooting dates August 16th and 17th)

OLDER SARAH, (age 30- 50), she becomes her own person within the prison, no longer follows Claudia but her own beliefs.(shooting dates August 16th and 17th)

BRITNEY, (35-46), a spiritual inmate who befriends Julie Ann, she quietly suffers in prison, she is tough as nails, but soft as butter towards Julie Ann. (shooting dates August 11th to 15)
 
PREACHER, (35 - 55), a spiritual man, a honest emotional speaker. (shooting dates July 26 and 27th)

Cast Needed for “Death by Broadcast”

A Columbia College graduate thesis film will be holding auditions for this festival bound graduate student film, SAG waiver.  Shoot dates will be August 4th-15th.  There is no pay but you will receive a meal & a copy of the reel.  If interested, send your headshot/resume to Thavary Krouch (casting coordinator) at dbbcasting@gmail.com

Crew Needed for Documentary/Reality TV Show
Seeking an experienced PA (must be over 25 to drive a rental van), a sound person & an assistant camera man.  Some PA duties will include: driving crew, craft service & wrangling talent.  Crew will be paid.  Filming will take place in Villa Park during the first week in August.  If interested, please send resume to josh.halpert@rdfnewyork.com.
